Integral 640 Film

INTEGRAL™ 640 Green film is the standard monolayer film for most of the wire and cable applications. INTEGRAL 640 is a heat activated adhesive film specifically formulated for bonding to steel on both sides of the film. It can also be used as a tie layer to bond two different substrates together.

It gets laminated to electrolytically chrome coated steel (ECCS).

INTEGRAL™ 640 Blue film is like Green but gets laminated to stainless steel.

The colors help cable manufacturers identify ECCS from stainless steel cores.

Characteristics:

  •  Film is laminated to heated metal
  •  Monolayer
  •  Heat Activation: 102⁰C (215⁰F)
  •  Colors: green and blue
  •  Thickness: 2.2 mil, and should be no less than 1.8 mil
  •  Corona Treat:  TX.
  •  Surface:  Smooth only

Integral 630 Film

INTEGRAL 630 is a heat activated adhesive film specifically formulated for bonding to steel or aluminum on both sides of the film. It can also be used as a tie layer to bond two different substrates together.

X66231.00

XUS66231.00 & .10 is a heat activated adhesive film specifically formulated for “Controlled Jacket Bond” (CJB) in cable lamination, designed to have interlayer failure when the jacketing is peeled back from the sheathing process. It can also be used as a tie layer to bond two different substrates together.
